What this page covers
This page explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and why. It also explains what we do not use — which on this site is significant.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and (on many sites) track your behaviour for advertising purposes.
What cookies this site uses
This site uses essential cookies only. We use no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party tracking cookies of any kind.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
session |
Maintains your browsing session (e.g., keeping you on the right page through the checkout process) | Essential | Session — deleted when you close your browser |
dtn_cookie_notice |
Records that you have acknowledged our cookie notice, so we don't show it again | Essential | 1 year |
What we do NOT use
- Google Analytics — not installed.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — not installed.
- Any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tool — not installed.
There are no third-party scripts on this site that track your behaviour, profile you, or share information about you with advertisers. This is a deliberate choice, not a gap. We built this site without third-party tracking as part of our commitment to EU-native data handling.
Third-party services and their cookies
The one third-party service that may set cookies or use local storage on our site during the checkout flow is Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe's cookies are used for fraud prevention and security during the payment process. They are subject to Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
Stripe only becomes active when you click "Buy now" and are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Stripe is an EU-regulated service (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd, Dublin, Ireland).
Your choices
Because we use only essential cookies, there is no "reject" option — essential cookies are required for the site to work. You can delete all cookies from your browser at any time via your browser settings. Doing so will remove your session cookie and cookie notice acknowledgement, meaning the notice will reappear on your next visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if we add new services or change how the site works. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent update.
